Acupuncture  and  I.V.F

Fertility  Acupuncture  provides  individualised  IVF  support  programmes, for  both  men  and  women.  It  is  recommended  that  acupuncture  treatment  starts  at  least  three  months  prior  to  egg  retrieval, where  possible.

The  treatment  used  has  been  created  using  evidence-based  protocols.  The  protocol  will  vary  depending  on  what  stage  of  your  IVF cycle  you  are  at.  Specific  points  are  chosen  during  down-regulation, stimulation  and  pre  and  post  embryo  transfer.

Clinical  research  studies  have  shown  that  “those  receiving  acupuncture  treatment  in  conjunction  with  IVF  have  significantly  higher  success  rates.”

As  well  as  maximising  fertility, acupuncture  has also  shown  to  be  effective  in  relieving  some  of  the  symptoms  associated  with  IVF  medications.
